Hello! My name is Sara and I am 16 years old. I've grown up in Michigan and I currently attend Coopersville highschool in my junior year. I wouldn't consider myself shy by any means, though in general I am just a naturally quiet person. I love bright colors and traveling is one of my favorite things. I could honestly run all over the world for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy. Coffee and running are my not so secret addictions and I have made a promise to myself that I will never grow up to the point where I stop enjoying the little things about life. I constantly crave change though my fears hold me back a lot from doing what I would really love to do. The most important part of life to me is helping others whenever possible and I especially enjoy working with kids. I guess I could write about the strange parts of my life all day but I am even more excited to learn about all of you goig on this trip with me. As far as mission experience I have been to Alaska, Montana, and have worked with children at a shelter in Chicago. Nothing even close to Africa and this is probably one of the scariest most exciting things I have ever done. I'm definitely excited.
