Hi team. I am so excited to start this journey with you.
Classic Jump picture. Each of you will have on of these by the end. They are my fav.
I and two others have the blessing of leading you on this adventure and journey that will change your life.
A bit about me. My name is Becca Arnold. I, like a lot of you, am from Michigan. Shout out to the mitten!!! I grew up in Marshall and still call it home. However, till May 7th I will be in Traverse City where I go to school. May 7th because I graduate. YEAH. I am in Culinary School with hopes to use that along side of ministry one day. Right now I am 23 but will be 24 by the time we all meet in person. Besides the obvious cooking I love or enjoy the following:
My dog.
Kayaking with my best friend.
Traveling.
Reading.
Taking photos. (not too good at this but enjoy getting better with each one)
Stargazing. (Africa has some of the most beautiful night skies I have ever seen)
My family. (we are a big family family)
Gummy Bears. (my travel food)
My niece and Nephew. (best friends kids)
Orphans (even the smelly urine soaked ones)
There is so much more that can be added to that list but if I told you everything there wouldn’t be anything new for you to learn in the future.
Taken last summer in China at the World Expo.
I have been going on trips with AIM on and off since 2005, the summer after High School. I love missions and will one day live in Africa ministering. I have been to Peru, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Swaziland and South Africa x2. Each mission trip has changed my life and made me who I am today. I am excited to see how each of you are changed and transformed in Uganda. And, I cannot wait to see every one in action with ministry and community.
This is Koko. He is one of my boys I had to leave in South Africa when I left. I am sure you will hear about him. He stole my heart.
